The temperature map at 3 km depth of Italy has been obtained digitizing the map from scientific paper: Cataldi, R., Mongelli, F., Squarci, P., Taffi, L., Zito, G., Calore, C. - 1995 - Geothermal ranking of Italian territory. Geothermics, 24 (1), 115-129.
The map together with the Italian National Geothermal Database can be accessed through Geothopica web portal at http://geothopica.igg.cnr.it
