This dataset contains slices at 2000m asl, at 1000m asl, at sea level and at 1000m bsl of the 3D densidy model in Los Humeros. The values represents density contrast in g/cm³ with a background density of 2.67 g/cm³.
The gravity campaign corresponds to 344 gravity stations measured in two different fieldtrips during the GEMex project, with participation of members of the WP5 "Detection of deep structures", Task 5.3 "Evaluation of other geophysical

- Between November/December 2017, 263 gravity stations were measured along ten E-W profiles of 5.5 km length with typical inter-station and inter-profile distances of 200 m and 500 m, respectively. Of these, two measurements were rejected due to unreliable GPS records. In April 2018, the survey was completed by a NE-SW oriented and 31 km long profile across the 11-12/2017 study area. This profile includes 81 gravity station with an inter-station distance of about 375 m, of which one measurement was rejected due unreliable GPS record. The data quality bases on the measurement accuracy of the differential GPS (vertical: 5 mm) and the gravimeter (0.001 mGal) and the standard deviation of the gravity and GPS measurements. During the surveys, gravity measurements were repeated three times. The measurement with lowest standard deviation was selected for further investigation.
