This dataset represents the temperature map at 1875m asl, it is the results of the regional thermal model of Los Humeros and the calculated volumetric heat in place. The temperature in Los Humeros is constrained by 65 deep wells drilled to explore or exploit the geothermal system. The initial thermal state was modeled up to a depth of 20 km below ground level is estimated, assuming steady-state conditions and conductive heat transfer only.
